This tv only has an ATSC tuner. This means that if you want to watch tv channels that can be reached using an over-the-air antenna then it’s fine. CATV will not work with this tv.
Everything u need to get going except the drill(I did not expect that,lol) wish the screen was bigger but happy for the most part.
I have Time Warner cable and it would not work for me with TW. My experience was that it worked great on the raw feed (3digit) digital cable channels, but not on Channels 1 to 75 where the non-HD signals are. I tried it in another room just to see if it worked with a cable box and it did not, probably due to the inability of the unit to receive Channel 3. The TW service tech came out and said they had the wrong tuner it it for TW. Also, no AM radio. If it worked for me, it would have been rated 4 stars due to the lack of AM.
