Pros: -Extremely high contrast ratio, resulting in vivid colors, pure whites and blacks. -Crisp picture-BRIGHT, i have it at 60% brightness and it’s ridiculous-VERY thin, very stylish. Clean, small bezel-Great price

Cons: Maybe it’s just me, or the input devices, but the 120hz doesnt really pop as much as some other TVs ive seen. My parents have a 40″ LCD that cost a third of this one that really shows the 120hz, providing that super-realism. At times, this TV almost looks like a standard 60hz TV. Not a huge negative, but i just get the feeling like i’m missing something.

Overall I find the picture too bright. Blacks are not as even as I would like. On a completely black screen there is a some bleed through bright spots. With the right settings the picture looks very good. The TV would do best in a bright room. Internet widgets are great and it comes with a lot already set up. Use Netflix and mlb.com the most {need separate subscription for those}. mlb.com widget needs some work doesn’t work as well as the one that comes with the Sony PS3. Overall I am happy with the purchase though I found it a tad to pricey. This model does not come with a wireless setup. I connected it to the internet via a network cable. I would recommend a Samsung to friends though a different model though I would recommend this set under the right conditions.

I’ve been researching TVs for quite awhile and finally got to point where it was time to move from a monster rear projector HDTV to a flat screen. I was seriously looking at the 6420 model but not sold on the 3D part of it yet. We saw this on sale for under $1000.00 over the holiday and jumped on it. What a great set, awesome picture and love the apps. Connecting to the internet was a breeze. Only problem is I reconfigured my whole home theatre system and what a job, not the TVs fault. This TV rocks and I still haven’t calibrated it yet. Looks good too!

This replaced an older Sony TV and we love the picture quality. The 46″ is a perfect size for our family room.

I’m really enjoying my new television, but if I had it to do over, I’d probably go for a 55 inch.

I have not purchased a tv in 8 years, so the landscape has changed much. This picture was so vivid, I had to buy it. The size is pretty good and the price was reasonable, albeit a little higher than some other sets. I am going to purchase some side speakers to add to the sound quality.

I originally bought this Samsung t.v. on 04/01/2011 when I was looking for a new tv to replace my Insignia 42″ LCD that I gave to a family member. I wasn’t sure I was going to buy a t.v. that day but this one caught my eye. I would go and browse the others they had but kept coming back to this one. The reason why is because the picture just looked way better than the ones around it. So, one of the employees told me they would give a discount on an open item and a discount on a wall mount too,so, I got it. I got the tv for $999.99, the wall mount was originally $279.99 and I got it for $100 less, I also got the buy back program for only $35(something I really don’t care about-it’s just a money scheme) and $20 off the 4 year warranty. Well I returned the tv because the right side panel was not attached to the screen but that’s the chance you take with an open item. So, in order to get a brand new one I had to pay $100 extra for it but no big deal because I still got the tv for a discount and the other things too. When I got home and turned on the new one I could see light bleeding(or flashlighting-same thing) from the left side right away. It was worse than I thought. It was on all four corners and the right side and bottom and top of the screen. I wasn’t very happy as this was a brand new tv and the open item didn’t have as much light bleeding. So, again took this one back, but this time finally got a good one. There is still some light bleeding but no where as bad as the previous. I could have went for a different tv but I stuck with this one because like I said the picture quality is amazing, it’s so crisp and the colors look really good compared to the last tv I owned. I read the other reviews and I see one of the biggest complaints is sound, but I have no issues with the sound at all I haven’t even turned on my surround sound system because I put the volume level to 11 or 12 and I can hear it just fine. The reality is these HDTVs are known not to have the best sound, so don’t expect them too, and if you’re not happy with it invest in a home audio system if you don’t already have it. I seen this tv get three 1 star reviews and in actuality there is only one 1 star review. One of the reviews was talking about last years model and the other was talking about Samsung tubes in general, I guess. The only 1 star review I see was a person that also had light bleeding, and I hope that person took that tv back and exchanged it for the same model because I did, twice and I’m really happy I stuck with this model. I have not tried using internet yet, in fact, I didn’t even knew it had it until I brought it home for the first time. It’s a bonus but I don’t really care if it had it or not. I probably wont buy the adapter but if I change my mind I will buy it on Amazon where it is $56 compared to $79.99 in stores not including tax. I strongly recommend this tv,and if you unfortunately get a bad unit by any chance don’t give up on it, I’m glad I didn’t- just exchange and I’m pretty sure you will be happy you didn’t give up on it either.

I bought this tv soon after it came out based on the 4 or 5 super enthusiastic reviews posted at this and other sites by the earliest purchasers. I’m thrilled with the tv. My experience with it has been just about completely terrific. It was easy to set up. (I’m not tech savvy and this was my first flat screen tv purchase. The Best Buy salesman made sure I went home with the items required to set up the Internet connection–as I recall, a wifi router and Samsung Internet connection device, which together cost around $120.) The tv picture is amazing. The default settings seemed perfect so I haven’t needed to tinker with them. The Internet connectivity works mostly flawlessly and quickly. I love the ability to stream Netflix efficiently (this system seems infinitely easier and cleaner than the alternative, pairing a PlayStation or Wii with a tv that lacks internal internet connectivity, though PlayStation/Wii provide BluRay while I must still buy a separate BluRay player for another $200). The only qualifications to my otherwise enthusiastic opinion of the Netflix function are: (1) Netflix’s instant streaming library is limited and doesn’t include much of my favorite stuff; and (2) one can stream to the tv only shows from one’s instant queu so one must first go on-line via a computer to stock the instant queu. However, I’m hoping Netflix improves its instant streaming content and I don’t find the need to stock the instant queu burdensome at all. The only thing that’s not exceptional about the tv is the sound but this might be endemic to flat screen tvs. To be clear, the sound is mostly quite good, but I was disappointed to find the sound effects in Stargate battle scenes tinny and harsh. Best Buy tells me that flat screen tvs in general have somewhat tinny sound because the tv’s are too narrow to house strong speakers, but that one can remedy the situation with external speakers. As said, I’ve found the sound otherwise good so I haven’t invested in additional speakers. Anyway, I’m extremely satisfied with the

This is the first LED for. Samsung has me hooked, the picture is the best I’ve ever seen. After I toned down some of the settings the picture is like looking out of a window. The TV isn’t to big and noway to small. Man-O-Man does this TV have a lot of APPs; just conect to the net and sit back to enjoy the best viewing you will ever see. Oh yeah; I did have a problem getting my blue-ray player to work with this TV.

This was my first HDTV flat panel purchase. I have been looking for over a year. The price is better on the 2011 models than on the 2010, so the value is good. The TV is great on HDTV channels, but regular channels are somewhat blurred around the edges. The picture just isn’t as crisp as a CRT TV. When watching non-HDTV channels the picture reminds me of watching daytime soap operas. Almost like watching TV through a live video camera connection with too much light on the subjects. It just is not quite great, but it is acceptable.
