Just picked up this unit while it was on sale this week. setup was a breeze, easily hooks up to all my devices via hdmi. LOVE that my tv recognizes the receiver and controls the volume with my cable remote without using another remote. Sound is awesome, paired with my ps3 and i couldn’t be happier. MUST BUY!!!!

I bought this because of the amount of additional HDMI connections. It is good quality and one of the only home theater systems with these connectors. I wish it had a few more of the old AV type connectors, but it works fine for what we need.

first of all this is not a dvd player or blueray player, THIS IS A SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM. PEOPLE GET THIS CONFUSED with a different model, i love this sound system, i like the preset equilizer, and is easy to use, the remote has too many buttons, that you can use if you are going to connect with a sony tv, i dont have a sony tv so i only use the ones to change the sound settings on the system. i like how clear it sounds and the different sound modes it has. its worth it for all the inputs and sound quality.

Turner does’nt has easy set up for pre set ,so you take a long time to programme pre sets. USB is a no no,slow and noise with each song skip. Not loud enough. You cant adjust EQ manually. This is seems more like a normal dvd player the ENT system.

Pros: Nice, deep bass. Vocals very clear when listening to music.

Cons: Not much. Just that i couldn’t sync it to my Bravia. But it’s an old XBR7 so its understandable. My TV doesn’t have the ARC support. Other Thoughts: Check your BRAVIA for ARC support before buying! it should say ARC or something near the HDMI plug. If not there, it doesn’t support! I’m definitely sure that 2011 models have ARC support.

Pros: 3 HDMI inputs and color-coded speaker connections (with easy connectors) make set-up easy. The dock for an iPod is a nice touch.

Cons: If you don’t have Sony Bravia equipment (especially TV and DVD/BluRay), then BUY SOMETHING ELSE. No attempt is made by the manufacturer to facilitate other brands. For instance, this means the DVD control buttons on the remote will be of no use to you. Other Thoughts: The term “BluRay” gets used a lot in the description, but there is no DVD or Blu-Ray player included. Also, the speakers are actually quite small, although you may not realize that when you look at the photos. Double-check the dimensions in the specs. For the same money, you can find better equipment out there.
