This TV is beautiful and exactly what we needed. Best Buy’s employee, Rebecca, was very knowledgable and helped us determine what to purchase.
Pros: Connects with my home network so I stream my saved videos. Also is smart enough to recognize a removable hard drive (plugged directly into the TV) and allows me to browse my saved shows and music from there. Picture quality is Fantastic!!, its like looking through a window. I especially like how the TV brightness will dim down or brighten up based on the room lighting. No more bright screen blasting at you when you turn the lights out and I don’t have to lower the shades to see TV when there is too much sun coming in the room.
Cons: Though it sees my recorded shows on my DirecTV DVR it will not play them (incompatable format). When playing music streamed over home network, it does not pull the album art across. When a hard drive is attached directly into the TV album art comes through. When streaming video using the web browser, the audio is good but video comes in choppy (about 1 frame per second instead of 60 frames per second), some formats are not supported and will not work yet. The YouTube app works and streams fine. Web browser needs some work. Overall: This is a FANTASTIC TV. I especially like the fact that I can turn the TV on and get the news scrolled across the bottom of the TV or have my Facebook page up all the time, allowing me to respond when I want. Next purchase is the Samsung Tablet so I can stream what I am watching on TV to my tablet when out by the pool. I would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone out there
I own a Sony, Panasonic and a Mitsubushi, none of them come close to this product. Picture is extremely realistic. 3D features are the best I have ever seen. I will buy another one for the Man Cave…..
The first one I brought home the picture was blury. Could not adjust it. Samsung help line said maybe I got a lemon. Brought it back to Best Buy, and got another one. The picture quality stinks. Blurry and jumps. All the reviews on this TV were great. The picture at the store was great. At home not good. Geek Squad could not get it right either. Taking this one back and getting my money back.
It was nice and great that it came with a free Blue-ray player and sound dock… However, I was disappointed it did not come with any 3D glasses!!! So My wife and I had to pay another $150 and change to buy 3D glasses and a 3D movie (The Lion King). We watched the Lion King in 3D with this…the 3D was awesome!!! Setting up the Qwerty RC was a bit challenging.
Very happy with my new TV, The keyboard remote makes internet very easy. Had some challenges with syncing the sound to the picture. However the ability to adjust the sound delay fixed the problem. Picture quality was fantastic. Clear view from any angle. 240hz is worth the additional cost.

The picture is sharp, the 3D is great, and you really should mount it to your wall.
I looked at many large flat screens. NOTHING compares to this model. I am sure it will be replaced by something newer in the future, but for the money, features and overall quality, Samsung provides the best. This is our 2nd Samsung flat screen and I highly recommend you go down and compare this picture to any other LED available. Make sure the sales rep explains Micro dimming to you. You will think you are watching live TV!
